Squash Casserole

8 yellow squash, boiled and mashed
1 lg. onion chopped
1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
¾-1 stick of butter
1 cup milk
1½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
salt & pepper
Mix all ingredients except cheese together. Put in greased casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
