Cranberry Cake and Butter Sauce
This is the recipe that has been served for
many years at the holiday party hosted by Kathy, Char and Linda for many
years. Both the party and this cake have been a highlight of the season for
many people for many years.

Cake Ingredients:
1 Cup Sugar
3 Cups Flour
1 Tsp. Soda
1 Tsp. Salt
2/3 Cups Crisco
3 Egg whites
1 Cups Milk
3 Cups fresh Cranberries cut in half by a scissors
Butter Sauce Ingredients:
1 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Flour
Cup Butter
Cup Milk
1 Tablespoon Vinegar
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Put all ingredients into a double boiler pan. Place on low heat and stir until sauce thickens. Then pour over cake.
Can be refrigerated or frozen. Warm by placing in the microwave.
I USUALLY DOUBLE THE RECIPE.
